Time For the Friday Reunion Event

We have had a great day thus far! It was (and still is) a hot one today, but I have enjoyed every moment of it. We just got back to our hotel room (we drove to Clearwater Beach and walked around Sand Key) and need to now get ready for the "big reunion" event tonight. Joe is starting to get a bit nervous about seeing classmates, but me... I am just the tag-a-long, so I am just going to be focused on searching out the good food! :-)

We just got the neatest email from Stephanie, a fellow adoptive parent who just got back from Haiti/GLA (also doing paperwork like us) and here is what she said about Samuel Chancelet:

We got the opportunity to meet your Chancelet! He was on the balcony for about an our while we were there with Luckson. I think he might even be cuter in person than he is in the pictures. He was playing with his nanny and the other children very well, and seemed very engaged in his toys. I think he must be teething - he seemed to really enjoy chewing on many of the toys.

Okay… I should start getting ready for this shindig. They are setting up on the patio below us with tables, a band and some other decorative event stuff… should be a nice evening.
