We then had to work on changing rooms (last night we were stuck in a room right by the elevators and had to call because of the noise (argh!) So they said we could change rooms for night #2... We got that all taken care of, and went on a search of STBX - fortunately, Chicago is much like Seattle with one every two blocks or so!
Then it was off to the Sears Tower. We had quite a wait, but it was WELL worth it! You don't get views much better than that in a lifetime. Mom, you would have been proud, as I stepped out onto the ledge!!!
We then roamed around by the water and saw more of the city. We liked what we saw and will definitely make it back here! The rain caught up with us in the afternoon, so we had to modify our plans a bit, but it all worked out fine. We went to Hard Rock for dinner (took a cab there) but decided to walk back (nice evening and it gave us a chance to see more of the city.)
Early rise tomorrow! We will make our first pit stop in Ann Arbor to see a friend (Cathleen) around 10am.

Wow, Chicago already!!?? We were there two summers ago. Give hugs to Cathleen for me...I'm jealous!
