Weekend in Palm Springs

It's hard to believe it was about 1 year ago that we went to Palm Springs and didn't have even one thought that we would have Samuel home by now. So here were are back in Palm Springs - only this time, we are with the little one, having a wonderful time. The sunshine always brings a smile to my heart and just being able to spend this time together, hanging out and having fun - is the best!
This kid loves the water... I mean LOVES it. I guess he came to the right family with a dad who is thrilled to be able to share his passion with his son! :-) Every time we take him out of the pool he wants back in - and he has no fear of water. He just loves everything about it.
Palm Springs is beautiful. The mornings are brilliant with color... the heat warms my core and I enjoy what this place has to offer. Joe and I each took our turn going on a run this morning, and then we all hit the pool and spent the entire day there! It was also fun because our friends, Fergal & Caprice are also in Palm Springs (visiting a friend) and so they were able to hang out with us today! It was odd that the timing worked out that we are both here, so we wanted to make sure to hang out if we could.
So... he is in bed, sleeping soundly (it was a big day at the pool!) The wind has picked up a bit, blowing in the background and we are just enjoying some downtime. It was a good day. One of those that you wish could last forever...
