Finishing up the Disney photos (fireworks) and then I posted some pictures from our journey today. We headed up north, along the coast. It was a beautiful drive and we stopped here and there when we felt like it. Everything is really green right now and the valley's are pretty.
We ended up in Monterey. We hadn't booked a room in advance, but figured we would be fine. We are staying at the Intercontinental, which is right near Cannery Row and the shops, restaurants (a great place!) The room is so nice and even has a fireplace! We went to Bubba Gumps for dinner and then took a quick stroll to see the shops. Then Samuel enjoyed the hot tub (with Joe) and had a wonderful time!
We aren't sure what our plan will be for tomorrow... we will have one more night along the way - just not sure where that will be yet. :-)
