We spent the morning at the pool - taking turns with Samuel. Luke wasn't in the mood to nap much today, so we have been "all-eyes" on him most of the day. Samuel spent his pool-time diving for his golf balls and making "golf ball soup." After Samuel woke-up from his nap we headed to the Hyatt to roam around in the shops there. Samuel was in a really good mood and wanted his picture taken everywhere! :-)
We grilled fish for dinner and ate by the pool... and then Joe told me I should take Samuel up to "Baby Beach" to watch the sunset. So we quickly got him in BOB and headed up the road. We caught it just in time! I tried to have Samuel snap a few pictures - you can see the one he took of me below (he tries so hard to get it right - too cute!) I realized we should probably attempt a self-portrait, so I scrambled to get it setup before it was too late - BUT WE DID IT! :-) It was so beautiful! The only negative to our adventure was that Samuel asked if he could walk next to me and push BOB home (after we were done watching the sunset) and he fell and scraped his arm/leg. Poor guy - he was so happy and in such a fun mood before that happened. But he got "back on the horse" and pushed BOB all the way home.
The weather has been so perfect this trip... what a wonderful thing! I was looking up at the sky today, just amazed at how clear it was. We have had some "splashes" of rain, but it lasts for all of 10-minutes and then clears up. You just never know what Hawaii will bring, so we are really thankful for this week of clear, blue skies!
A WONDERFUL moment came today (well, I think it was wonderful...) Luke rolled over from his belly onto his back today! Joe just happened to be filming him and caught it! :-) Not sure if the progress on his new-found mobility will be good for us... but it had to come sometime, right?!
